A beautiful beaded embroidered bodice on a silk Mikado mermaid skirt.
I bought this dress for a small wedding that was to take place in the Fall of 2020. I was also pregnant so I needed a dress that would accommodate my growing belly. Due to COVID, our small wedding became a backyard wedding and I never wore the dress and I never had the dress altered.
I initially loved this dress because of the unique back. Illusion lace appliques adorn the sheer back and are accented with gorgeous fabric-covered buttons that trail all the way down to the bottom of the skirt. The deep v-neck has matching lace that covers the bodice right to the natural waistline. The floor-length Mikado skirt is timeless and elegant and has a lovely train to complete the romantic look.
This dress is a size 16 and it’s a sample dress. All beading seems to be intact and I believe the only issue with the dress is the zipper in the back which may need to be fixed.
