When I started shopping I knew I wanted a dress with twirl-ability; something that made me feel *a little* like a Disney princess. This dress checked those boxes; it feels magical to dance & spin in!
I fell in love when I saw the buttons, beads, and pearls all the way down the back, to the end of the train. The beading and lace on the bodice swirl flatteringly towards the smallest part of the waist. The color is very unique. It is not a bold pink blush! In some lighting the dress is practically white; in another lighting, it's a soft blush. The lace & overlay fabric it is attached to, is ivory, making the blush color of the satin underneath more subtle.
Fit & Alterations: I am 5'7" and wore 3.75" heels. I wear size (L) 12 & 14 street clothes. The dress was hemmed up 2" from the original length. Foam cups were added to the bust. The armpit area & the point of the sweetheart were taken in about an inch altogether to stop "spillage." No waist alterations were made. Beads and pearls were "reinforced" in some areas to prevent damage during the wedding. Three traditional over bustles were added. The woman who altered this dress has been a professional dressmaker for over 40 years.
Condition: It was professionally cleaned less than a week after the wedding.
